Last Sunday, as I looked out of my window at the nearby flags, I noticed their stillness. It seemed to be a windless day. With plans for a run, I packed a small running backpack, including a recorder to capture the serene sounds of the sand and ocean at the tranquil beach. However, the moment I stepped outside the building, snow began to fall and the wind intensified. The conditions were so severe that recording was impossible, and visibility was greatly reduced. The snow reached knee-deep, blanketing everything in white to the extent that it felt like I was running through the sky. Such weather is typical in Iceland, but I didn’t even bother reaching for my recorder. Later, I managed to record the storm from a safer location. So, my dears, that was my “windless” day in Reykjavik! 😀
(the photo is from a different, but also, “windless” day :))

Thank you, this is very impressive. I know it a little from a winter trip in Iceland, but your recordings are great!
thank you Roman for your kind words, I really appreciate it
