I can’t believe I have done it after so many years of sound recording in Iceland: I forgot to bring my windscreen also known as a „dead cat” or „my furry hard-working friend” as my family calls it. Therefore, it was impossible to do a good recordings, without wind blowing straight into the microphone. BUT the nature was kind enough to let me record at least 40 seconds of the sound usable enough, but more importantly: during that time a huge chunk of ice fell off Skogafoss waterfall. Sounds powerful. So I wanted to share this experience with you 🙂
