I had always dreamed of capturing the elusive sounds of a glacier. My journey took me deep into the heart of the icy expanse, right down to the crevasses of the glacier. Yet, surprisingly, the most intriguing sound I encountered was not deep within the glacier, but rather before I even reached its depths and put on my crampons. Standing near the glacier face, I heard something utterly unexpected: a sound resembling wind chimes. But this melody wasn’t created by any instrument; it emanated from the ice itself, crafting a truly melodic and harmonic experience.
