Although the rainbow in the streets of Reykjavík is present all year round, in June – Pride Month – there is more of it. In Iceland, the celebration of equality and diversity generally lasts until August. This is where Hinsegin Dagar (Queer Day) takes place, which is actually a week long. The whole is crowned with a march that starts from Hallgrimskirkja church – the main temple of the Icelandic capital. Inside, on the steps leading to the altar, there is a rainbow flag.

How does this church sound?
